going to dc for back-to-cool shopping. i don't even need any clothes so of course i will by some. maybe jeans actually, my good ones are ripping through. i just had to patch them this morning.

bought some stuff yesterday too. i don't know.

this weekend was full of good adventures

saturday night we went to chris's grandmother's house. it was full of rad old stuff.

sunday I went to the moviessszzs with erin, my bff4evr from umbc and actually from the internetz before that but then we ended up at the same school although she is older than I am.

monday (still my weekend btw) I went to dc with shannon and that was pretty neat. we definitely got our money's worth out of the $6.50 all-day subway pass. we went so many places, mostly for no reason. we went from dc to rockville and back for kicks. shannon loves wendy's so much so we went to florida ave so she could get some. we went to farragut north and my friend sarah from maryland who knows vicki saw me and said hello.

then I went home and was tired and now I'm almost done walking to work.

I'm walking to work, a mile or so away, and just noticed that aside from the mild humidity, today is pretty great.

the weekend was nice, I didn't do much but that's okay, I had a nice time, and that's what counts. got some things taken care of as well, which is important.

got a nice email from rachel of visqueen (myspace.com/visqueen), one of my favorite bands since forever. that's was really sweet.

hmm. its not so nice out anymore! its too warm for me. the breeze seems to have only been temporary. oh well. its cool at work.

I've got a job at pearle vision selling glasses and fixing minor frame problems and stuff. its nice, I like my boss a lot and everyone is fun. plus glasses are obviously great. I'm getting 2 new pairs, I'm pretty excited.

I'm at the eye doctor right now getting tests. they gave me crazy drops to dilate my eyes. amazing. they're kicking in now, it feels so strange.

this week was fun. it lasted a while, a lot happened and it felt like it was more than a week. sometimes time drags along and you're bored and wishing things would pick up. other times your life is awesome but it feels like it went by too quickly. this week, like I said, it was great, and it lingered. I did a lot and felt like it wasn't rushed or over too soon. everything was just right.

this week its been just my mom and I at home, while my siblings and dad visited family in toronto. they come back monday, and then the oldest of my two younger sisters goes off to ny to work at a camp, so its going to be different back here.

my best friend kim is moving to nyc in august. I'm pretty excited for her, much more exciting than where she lives now, but I will miss her. then again I only see her once every never as it is, so its not a huge change, and nyc isn't too far at all really.

went out with some kids today, got two hoodies. I'm in my friends car, not sure what we're doing now, just dropping someone off.

seeing fall out boy tomorrow. long story. I promised I'd go with my best friend shan next time they came, so when they announced their tour I bought tickets. now she can't go and I have two $45 tickets that I refuse to waste, so I'm going with my friend chris the end.
